First priority is given to quality improvements with focus on increasing the value of automation, analysis and transformation. This resulted among other things in the following main improvements and extensions of MoRE:

  • Extension of scope of MoRE Technology connectors, resulting in next-generation technology connectors for COBOL, PL/1, C/C++
  • Upgrade of visualization connector for IBM Rational Software Modeler (RSM) to RSM latest version.
  • Enhancements to the handling of MoRE-Projects and MoRE-Nature within Eclipse.
  • Performance improvements in the indexing and caching services, and handling of events.
  • Improvement of handling of semantic annotations to facilitate team collaboration and semantic analysis.
  • IDE-like features, like for example source-code highlighting, for MoRE Technology connectors
  • Introduction of context-based strategies for UML transformations, like naming strategy, hierarchical vs. flat structures, etc.
  • Extended integration of MoRE-Reporting components with BIRT.

MoRE 2.7.5 is already available. Committed to our clients Interactive Objects continues working on additional extensions of MoRE.
